CAPA Commercial Accreditation our accreditation keeps your projects aerial photography compliant, reduces your costs, and our drone technology enables us to fly effectively in more locations to cover all your projects. For general unrestricted areas we can cover a maximum nadir angle (straight down) ground coverage of 175m x 125m and for more restricted areas up to 70m x 50m. With photography from more oblique angles much greater coverage is possible.

Everything you need to know about booking your architectural photography and video shoot.
1. How long until we receive our Final photos?
We generally supply proofs or rushes within 3 days of the completion of your shoot. We always endeavour to get them to you sooner if possible. Once you have made your selections we supply your final images or video within 3 days. For highlight videos this is dependant on approvals. For staged shoots we can supply finals for each stage and/or all selections on completion.
2. How will we Receive photos and Video?
Once post production is complete we will send you an confirmation email. This email will contain a link to download your content files. Photos are supplied as Jpgs. 1 copy optimised for online use, and 1 copy optimised for print use. Videos will be supplied as MP4 files. Let us know if you have specific requirements.
3. Can we add Conventional Architectural services to our drone Project?
Yes! You can add conventional architectural services to your drone services and save. When you add when you add a secondary service to your project you SAVE 20% on the lesser fee. Click here to view our architecture page.
4.What Equipment do you use ?
We supply all equipment required. All equipment is of professional standard. Mostly we use sub 250g mini drones to give us greater flexibility in more restricted flight areas. These drones are capable of beautiful high res stills and full 4K video footage at up to 120fps, great for smooth slow-mo sequences. Specialised equipment can also be supplied to meet you specific brief.
5. Can We Receive all RAW Files Unedited?
No! We do not supply RAW files at all. RAW files are kept as digital negatives and cant be used for normal applications. We use our experience and skills to edit the best photos for you. We also colour grade and retouch your photos to meat our high quality standards. Our post production saves you time and money.
6. Are There Restrictions To Where You Can Fly Your Drone.
Yes. there are restrictions to where drones can be used. For unrestricted areas we can fly up to 120m giving you a nadir angle covering 175m x 125m. In restricted areas e.g. within 5.5km from an airport we can fly up to 49m giving you a nadir angle covering 70x 50m. We will advise you of any other restrictions while discussing you requirements.
7. How can I request a quote?
Just click the “REACH OUT NOW” button or email, give us the details of you project and we will send you back a formal quote. If you prefer, you can give us a call on 0403 904 104 and have a chat about your project.
8. How do i confirm my booking?
Once we have discussed your requirements and received approval for your quote, we will confirm your shoot date in our calendar. We will then liaise with your nominated team members to lock in times and site requirements to conduct the shoot.
9. How do you manage weather holds?
Weather holds can effect exterior shoots. We will liaise with your team prior to your booking if weather may be an issue. In the event a weather hold is required, we will liaise with your team or client to re-schedule and complete your shoot at the soonest availability.
10. What if we need to Cancel?
Bookings can be cancelled at no charge, up to 24hrs before the start time of your shoot. If a cancelation is made without 24Hrs notice, 50% of the quoted fee is due, to cover wages and lost booking time. Postponements can be rescheduled as required before the shoot time.
11. Are there any up front costs?
No! Generally there are no up front costs with your booking. Your invoice will be sent out directly after your job is delivered. Our terms are strictly 7 days from your invoice date.
12. Can we share our Drone footage with other stakeholders?
With your booking, we licence you to share your content with your direct client. If third party stakeholders like trades, architects etc would like to use any content, you can arrange additional licences with us prior to the quote for a cost sharing arrangement. Please direct any usage requests to us post shoot. We will supply a specific third party licence with your approval. Under the Copyright Act 1968, Copyright is held by Karl Dietrich Photography and Video. Any unauthorised display of content will be prosecuted.
